The Workwell Audit is an ongoing program utilized by the WSIB to properly implement section 82(1) of the WSIA (Workplace Safety and Insurance Act). This program was implemented by the WSIB to identify and reprimand companies through excessively high claim costs, or frequency, and to aggressively recoup all costs through fines specifically based on that company’s audit score.
